This is a print of my 28″x22″ oil painting titled “Vestiges of Poe’s Macabre Companions”. It is a Portrait of Edgar Allan Poe and a narrative piece about time, and our mortality. The imagery is my interpretation of select characters from my favorite of Poe’s stories, the raven, the black cat, the pit and the pendulum, and the mask of the red death.
