Galactic Monuments – Unisex Jersey Tee

Description

This is my 3.5’x9′ acrylic and mixed media painting. Navigating through closed caverns, distant spaces and unidentifiable monuments. This painting was such a raw and visceral experience. It was mostly finger painting, where I was aiming at using unconventional materials and process. Wax crayons, sumi ink, gesso, ground pastels sprinkled into wet paint, and sticks to scrape through thick paint. I then later went through with detail brushes and drawing tools to refine and detail the work.

This is the largest painting I’ve completed to date. It is currently adorning the wall of our music room and is the first painting visible when you enter our home. This version features incorporated text on heavyweight cotton fabric. Check out my other apparel with this artwork!

This popular short-sleeved jersey is a classic with a ribbed knit crew neck for a classic look and taped shoulders for a better fit. This shirt offers the best canvas for printing because of the soft cotton fabric.
