This is my 5″x7″ oil painting. Of peridot’s green, a guardian in the fall. Ask it long enough, and you will hear its answer.

I like to imagine this quip as an inscription carved beneath the painting.

Blending contemporary realism with formal mark making is a primary interest in my visual style — where realistic elements dissolve into obvious brush strokes.
