The inspiration for this came from an innovative design intended to be used in the cabins of boats. With a curved base, the bottle’s center of gravity can sway with the rocking of the ship. I appreciate how the yellow glaze on the stopper of the jar suggests the color and texture of a cork. Purple being my favorite color, the outer glaze was an obvious choice.
