For me, Halloween is a time for family and making art. In my youth, my wonderful mother would make our costumes by hand. I recall the many nights she would work on them and the memories of us going out as a family together dressed in them. It was a way that I knew my mom loved us, and it was another of the moments that led me to understand the value of making art.

In 2021 we needed a Frankenstein decoration to complete our monster movie theme, so I painted this.
