This was the second metalsmithing project I ever made and the first spoon. This spoon also started from a bar stock of copper where to form the handle and the bowl of the spoon, I exclusively used my hammers. To make the prongs, I sawed to split the metal and then pried it apart. From there I was able to shape them using files. I did a small amount of filing on the bowl of the spoon to make it level.
