Ceramic is not an easy material to make a mask from, nor is it a typical or convenient one. Nonetheless, I wanted to make one, so I did. To make this, I physically pressed a piece of clay against my face and used my thumbs to press and mark where the eye openings would be. The greatest challenge with this is that when ceramics are fired, they do shrink, and the higher the temperature, the more shrinking occurs.
