This painting is a distillation of my thoughts and feelings of my Fourth of July 2018. There was talk and images of fireworks accidents and photos of exploded hands. At the end of the night, on the 40th floor of a beach side hotel, I watched hundreds of fireworks lighting up the sky along the coast.
